Figure Drawing Clinic<br />for High School Students

April 27th (8:00 am – 1:30 pm)
at Syracuse University’s Shaffer Hall


Spend a day working on your portfolio with university instructors!

  • Instruction (2+ hours) on the many aspects of drawing the figure
  • All materials provided
  • Critique of work done that day
  • Optional portfolio review
  • Lunch on the premises

Life drawing is a major element to creating a well rounded college portfolio, and improves chances of acceptance and scholarships.

Early registration has ended. Walk-in registration begins at 8:00 am on April 27th. Please bring a signed parent or guardian permission form.

  • 9:00 am - Welcoming Remarks, in Auditorium
  • 9:30 am - Instruction starts
    • Gesture Drawing Workshop
    • Value and Shape
    • Critique
  • 12 pm - Lunch break
  • 12:30 pm - Portfolio Arrangement and Design
  • 1:30 pm - Optional Portfolio Review
    If you are staying for the portfolio review you must make arrangements for transportation.
