Speed drawing trains participants to capture the character of their partner. It is a new networking event for artists in the community.
As participants check in, the host gives them either a red card or a blue card. They sit opposite a person with the other color card. Once the session begins, artists have 10 minutes to draw the person across from them, with encouragement to get to know each other in the process.
When the 10 minutes are up, either the people with red cards move left or the people with blue cards move right, and start again.
The cards are redistributed half way through, so participants may wind up with a new color card for the 2nd half.
