This is the 5th Sunday of the month. We have a clothed model every 5th Sunday.

Bring your artwork to room 413, Delavan Studios, on or before the deadline!
Reception: Saturday June 21, 2025, 4 – 6 pm
All Open Figure Drawing participants are welcome to contribute to our Group Show!
For this show we are accepting work containing Anything but People.
Please read the rules below.
Rules:
- Anyone who has attended Open Figure Drawing in the last year may submit art, regardless of when the art was made.
The focus of the artwork should not be people. - How to Enter
Submit an entry form with your artwork. Your artwork cannot have been part of a previous group show. - Deliver artwork to Delavan Studios on Wednesday, June 18, between 7 – 10 pm, during Open Figure Drawings session. You can submit up to 3 pieces. Please check out our hanging system to make sure it works with your frames. If you can’t make if on June 18, you can deliver your artwork sooner. Contact us if that doesn’t work for you.
The show ends Sunday, September 21, 1-3 pm. - Identify your artwork. Include your name and phone number (or e-mail or street address). Optionally, include a title, media, and size information. We also suggest signing and dating your work.
- Artwork must be framed and ready to hang from our hanging system.
- Work can be for sale, but does not have to be. Open Figure Drawing takes a 10% commission on all sales.
- Optional: Package your artwork.
Since we will not be transporting the artwork for this show, it is up to you if you think it needs packaging to deliver it safely to us. Please take all packaging with you after you deliver your artwork.

For this figure drawing session, the host will guide you through 2 hrs of gestures.
If it is successful, it may turn into a monthly event on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Friday, July 18, 2025, 7 – 9 pm
Room 413, Delavan Studios
Speed drawing trains participants to capture the character of their partner. It is a new networking event for artists in the community.
As participants check in, the host gives them either a red card or a blue card. They sit opposite a person with the other color card. Once the session begins, artists have 10 minutes to draw the person across from them, with encouragement to get to know each other in the process.
When the 10 minutes are up, either the people with red cards move left or the people with blue cards move right, and start again.
The cards are redistributed half way through, so participants may wind up with a new color card for the 2nd half.
Think of “Speed Dating” and you’ll get an idea of where the name comes from.
Saturday, July 19, 2025, 1 – 3 pm

We’re having a clothed Long Pose session on Saturday, July 19, during Delavan Open Studios. This replaces our Sunday session scheduled for July 20.
July 19 is during the 3rd week. Our 3rd Sunday is scheduled to have a nude model. To make it a family friendly event, we will have a nude model on our 2nd Sunday instead, and have a clothed model for the session during the 3rd weekend, for Delavan Open Studios.
Our room will be open from 10 am – 5 pm. Come anytime. The session is free all day, during the drawing session or otherwise.
